All of the sausages made by our friends up in Todmorden are Artisan – that simply means everything is made by hand with the added attention to detail that you would expect from a high quality product.  SJ and Nat are true pioneers of the regenerative farming movement, every decision they make reflects their boundless passion to provide the best environment for their pigs to enjoy and in return they are rewarded with the very best quality produce.

SIMPLY PORK - A beautiful plain pork recipe. 84% Pork and our own secret recipe of herbs and spices. The real breakfast boost to look forward to waking up to. Minimum pack weight 360g. Four generously-sized artisan sausages.

TOD-LERS - The same recipe as the Simply Pork Sausages but chipolatas – so you get 8 not 4! They are a softer eat, cook faster and make the perfect ‘soldiers’ for your dippy eggs. Folk say the are their children’s favourite – be we reckon the parents love them just as much! Minimum pack weight 360g. Eight smaller-sized artisan sausages.

SCARBOROUGH FAIR - One of the oldest sausage recipes. Originally sold at the Scarborough Fair as far back as the 1700's. Fresh parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme makes for a scrumptious herby sausage that goes great in a casserole or with mash and onion gravy to keep your spirits up on the coldest of days! Minimum pack weight 360g. Four generously-sized artisan sausages.

PORK, PANCETTA & PARMIGIANO - Our Guild of Fine Foods Gold Star winner. The Pork, Pancetta & Parmigiano is a wonderful mixture of pork and cheese. Lush in flavour with a touch of fresh sage there is little to compare to the full rounded flavour of this recipe. Minimum pack weight 360g. Four generously-sized artisan sausages.

TODMORLAND - The Porcus version of the mighty Cumberland sausage – but with a Yorkshire accent! The herbs and spices that are blended through our pork to give a warm peppery flavour that you come to expect from the name Cumberland and a touch of honey gives a slight sweet finish that makes ours that bit different. Great Taste Awards 2020 Gold Star. Minimum pack weight 360g. Four generously-sized artisan sausages.

At Porcus they look after over 120 pigs at any one time – all free range, truly outdoor living, native breeds. They breath fresh air and walk on real ground, the ground they call our farm in the Pennines. If they are under the weather they go the extra mile to care for them. That extra care is stronger than any drugs. There is no need to blanket medicate like the industrial scale pig units do – their animals don’t live on top of each other in dark cramped barns – they live in open spaces, eat good varied food and are slow grown to allow the development of that fantastic flavour accredited to best reared meat that you have come to expect from your farmers.
